Frequently Asked Questions

When should I begin the process with lettered press?

As soon as you start planning your event, we recommend starting the process. With the current wedding boom and supply chain issues, it's always good to book your vendors as soon as possible to lock in your date and ensure your project will be completed in time for your event.

What is your payment policy?

I require a 50% non-refundable deposit of the estimated proposal in order to reserve your spot. Once the project is approved, the remainder of the balance is due before shipment of the finished product(s).

How many extra invites should I order?

I recommend ordering 10-15 additional suites for those last minute guests, wrong addresses, keepsake items, etc. Ordering a single or even a few invites is extremely costly and involves a rush fee! Save yourself the headache and added stress and plan on ordering extras in the beginning.

How long does the process take?

We generally start the design process 6 to 8 months prior to your event, after you have paid your deposit. It generally takes between 4 to 6 weeks for the design and revision phase. Printing and production typically takes between 1 and 4 weeks. If you're interested in booking, please contact us as soon as you have an idea of what you're looking for.

What is your return policy?

Due to the custom nature of your custom suite, all sales are final. As it is noted in my contract, you are solely responsible for proofreading the files prior to final approval. Be sure to triple-check the final proof!

How much postage will I need for my invitations?

Each invitation suite varies in weight and postage. For every project, I bring a sealed envelope with the full suite enclosed to my local post office to check the postage whether I am sending them out or mailing to you to send out.

What is the average investment?

I’ll prepare a custom quote for you depending on your design preferences and budget, however the average investment for a letterpress custom invitation suite starts around $2,800 which includes; an invitation card, envelope with digital addressing, RSVP card, return envelope with digital addressing, plus an insert card (100 count).

Do you have a minimum order?

Yes, I have a minimum investment that covers design fees, materials, communication, project setup, and more. This investment exists regardless of quantity, should your quantity and/or project scope change.
